About Me

Hello and welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Ali Karim. Im 23 years of age, happily married with a 8 month old baby boy (the source of my inspiration).

I’m UK Based Motion Graphics Designer and Photographer (in the making). I am currently studying Digital Media Productions at Thames Valley University; this is my third and final year (hoping for a 1^st).

I have been a designer since 2007, my previous career was a computer engineer, but after teaching myself Photoshop, I slowly to the courage to purchase a MAC, and have never looked back.

I pride myself with being able to learn programs and adapt to new conditions really quickly, also with my technical background and my thorough self-teachings I’m never stuck, I always find a solution to a problem or different techniques to speed up production.

I am familiar with the following programs, as they are so many I will list just the important ones I will add next to them my current skill level at each one. Well here goes…

• Adobe Dreamweaver – low skill level (use mostly HTML & CSS coding )
